O the summer time is comin’
And my humans take me walkin’
Along the trails I love
With rabbits and callin’ ravens

And we’ll all go together,
Along wild mountain trails,
To follow the scents of summer.

I will bring my human a dead rat,
And drink from running rivers,
And ‘ev’ry where I’ll wander
Thru the wild flowers o’ the mountain.

If my Humans will not come,
Then I’ll surely find some others,
To walk the trails I love,
With rabbits and callin’ ravens

Oh, we ain’t got a bowl full of noo-dles
Maybe we’re Bulldogs or Poo-dles
But we’ll travel along, peein’ on trees

Don’t know what’s just round that dead log
Maybe a Beagle or Sheep Dog
But we’ll travel along, peein’ on trees

Through all kinds of weather,
What if we get some fleas?
Just as long as there’s a bathtub,
You’ll make our itching ease.

When they’ve all finished barking and part-ed
We’ll be friends like we start-ed
